Counsel is a satirical concept created for Deceit, an art project about the patterns of manipulation in institutional technology. There is no real church product behind this page. Nothing entered on this site — signup, checkout, or the chat widget — is stored or sent anywhere outside this browser tab.

Generates "biblical counseling responses" for common issues: marriage conflict, anxiety, doubt, "sexual sin." jake thought this would "equip pastors." jake didn't think about what happens when a pastor reads from a script during counseling. jake didn't think about what happens when the script says "confront the sin" and the person is just sad. jake doesn't know the difference between sin and sadness. jake thinks sadness is sin. jake read a book about it once. jake forgot most of it.
